Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between OEM and ODM?
OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturing) means you provide your product design, specifications, or branding requirements, and we manufacture the products accordingly. ODM (Original Design Manufacturing) means our R&D team helps design and develop products based on your requirements, which can then be sold under your brand. X&E provides both OEM and ODM services for smokeless grills, air fryers, multi-function cookers, and other small kitchen appliances.
What is your minimum order quantity (MOQ)?
Our standard MOQ is generally based on approximately one 40HQ container per order. Typical quantities vary by product:
- Mini Smokeless Grill: approximately 2,000 units;
- Smokeless Grill: approximately 1,400 units;
- Mini Air Fryer: approximately 2,500 units;
- Air Fryer: approximately 1,800 units;
- Multi-Function Cooker: approximately 1,600 units.
The exact MOQ may vary depending on the product model, configuration, packaging requirements, and order mix. For mixed-model orders or specific project requirements, please contact our sales team for a customized MOQ.
What are your standard shipping terms?
We currently offer FOB and EXW shipping terms. We do not offer CIF terms. For FOB orders, we arrange delivery to the designated port and handle export procedures. For EXW orders, goods are made available at our factory for collection by your nominated freight forwarder or logistics provider.
How long is the typical lead time?
Standard production lead time is approximately 25-45 days, depending on the product model, order quantity, customization requirements, and production schedule. The final lead time will be confirmed when the order is placed.
Can you help with product certification for my market?
Yes. We have experience with major international certifications and compliance requirements, including CE, UL, ETL, FCC, RoHS, and GS. Our US-market products include UL and ETL certified models. Our team can recommend the applicable certification requirements based on your target market and product.
Do you offer product design and prototyping?
Yes. Our ODM service covers product concept development, industrial design, engineering, prototyping, and product optimization. With 20+ R&D engineers and 300+ patents, X&E has extensive experience developing smokeless grills, air fryers, multi-function cookers, and other small kitchen appliances for international markets.
What payment terms do you accept?
